This is a great powder I use it in 22 hornets with Hornady 45gr bee bullets have been using for 20 + years without any problems taking down Fox and coyote with ease and very light pelt damage also works on deer with good shot placements good starter caliber for youth hunters as it has a light shoulder kick. Ps works well in 223 rem with same 45gr bullets.

IMR 4227 is a very versitile powder. It is easy to ignite, burns clean, and has a burn rate similar to H110, so it is wonderful in any Magnum handgun round. IMR 4227 is a little bit bulkier than H110. If you are looking for a more moderate load that isn’t pushing the absolute maximum velocity, then IMR 4227 is a very good choice. it can be use in the 45 Colt, 454 Casull, 480 Ruger, 475 Linebaugh, 500 JRH, 500 S&W, and the 500 Linebaugh. It also works great for the BFR in 45-70.
