Good results in 7mm Roy and 7mm Rem Mag

IMR 7977 can be used in both a 7mm Roy and a 7mm Rem Mag with 165 gr. Nosler Accubonds 1/2″ groups at 100 yds. consistently when sighting in spring and summer, and when in the cold temps during hunting season. Good powder.

A large deviation would be around 30 to 50 fps. It’s also smooth in texture which makes it easier to load from the electronic powder drop as well as actually dropping it into the cartridge. Also, the same can be said of the enduron 4451.

it has a very good results in Rem 700 Sendero 25-06 with 26″ barrel. Both accuracy and velocity are better than expected. With 100 Nosler BT’s It got better than half inch 5 shot groups at 100 yards with several charge weights, 58 & 59 grains. 59 grains gave avg velocity of 3,427 and is the load we recommend you go with. Max load of 61 grains pushing 3,500 fps, slight ejector mark on case head. Bullets seated .005 of lands, Fed Primers and priv part brass.

IMR 7977 can be used in medium bore guns. It works very well in my 7mm Remington Mag and 6.5-06. It gets very consistent velocity, and it hasn’t been bothered by temperatures. Worked well in a 25-06. Seated bullets (85gr nosler BT varmint) into the lands and used 62.5 grains. Compressed.
